Some ideas from the conference:

-Student-generated pie chart to represent the size of the seven continents relative to each other
-Student-generated maps by memory using "Mapping the World by Heart" book/guide
-Student-generated globes using grapefruit
-Create maps from different perspectives...for example, draw a map where the south pole is literally the center....thereby, showing you how much ocean really exists
